Energy Communities and PPA Initiatives
EnergyPolis is helping investors execute Energy Community and PPA schemes with physical or virtual energy exchange. This requires procuring land plots and rooftops suitable for PV development, and also local energy consumers.
Typically energy consumers and producers have to belong to a common area, such as one of the two example areas below, which are defined as the areas served by the same high-voltage substation.
EnergyPolis offers a key advantage to investors and developers, which is the ability to activate its network on a need basis. All 1'700+ EnergyPolis active agents are geo-located, and may be activated in and on a certain area with our online tools, by email or by phone.
EnergyPolis at the moment supports the following programs:

Development of Energy Communities, with connection through the existing network infrastructure, and contractual agreements according to the scheme defined by the Regulator.

Development of Direct Self-Consumption schemes, with direct connection via cable from a dedicated photovoltaic plant, and contractual agreements as an operating lease or as a service contract.

Development of Distance Self-Consumption schemes, with connection to a dedicated photovoltaic plant through the existing network infrastructure, and contractual agreements according to the scheme defined by the Regulator.
Investors also leverage the EnergyPolis network for targeted searches that are not linked to Energy Communities or Self-Consumption schemes, e.g. to acquire land around selected electrical substations of interest.
